Event Experience
During my years with Studio Big I have had the pleasure of creating graphics of all different sizes and mediums for our wonderful games. I have worked in a variety of mediums, like print, video, prize creation, and assets for event activations.
Oversized Dice Tower
We created a giant replica of the dice tower that comes with The Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship. This was part of an activation where convention attendees would ‘battle’ against Sauron’s evil force by rolling the oversized dice to win a variety of prizes based on the results. The prizes were buttons of the 13 playable characters and buttons of Hope or Despair.
Game Banners
We love showing off our games! For conventions I create banners for the various events and booth needs. Sizes range from small and narrow to HUGE like the Fate of the Fellowship on for Essen below, featuring our lovely game designer Charlie.
Window Clings
To showcase the beautiful stained-glass art from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring we wanted to do window clings to really recreate the look of actual stained-glass. These made their debut at Gen Con.
Signings
Conventions offer a great opportunity to show off and brag about our game designs and the artists that bring our games to life. I work with them to coordinate times and create graphics to have them meet with our players and sign their works, the games, prints, and anything in between.
SWAG IteMs!
When our studio attends events we love to provide our players with fun, interesting, and beautiful SWAG! I have created travel tags, lanyards, pins, hats, notebooks, buttons and SO much more!
